Re: semi-literate students

(I started to answer in good faith, but I'm really not sure about the question that's being asked - it does seem to be rather obvious!)
Well, for a start, they do not feel comfortable getting bunnies...

Re: Im the new :)

Re: adults basic level class

I'm attaching a worksheet - I hope it can help you. It goes well with a map of the area where your school is, so that sts can mark places on it.

Countdown to insert in PPT

This post seems most appropriate for Patrick, but I'll ask everyone:

Re: Fear of learning?

Well, kick them out of both courses - obviously the higher one is too difficult for them and they are a nuisance in the lower one. Or let them take the Dialang test to find their level ; some work...

Re: Fear of learning?

Well, I'd have a nice private chat with them pointing out their learning difficulties and asking them to be in the other student's shoes. It's obvious they are perhaps a bit resented at being...

Re: Fear of learning?

I also think it's because they feel better. But I wouldn't be so sure about criticizing them because of that. If you feel good, you learn better.
And also because if you are in an easier level, it...

Thumbs up Re: Teaching present continuous

I suggest that, if you have access to a classroom projector (or just a laptop that can be turned round to show the class), you make a powerpoint with all their favourite sports stars - other...
