It's illegal if you don't pay tax on it. Countries lose a lot in tax through private tutoring if it's not declared to the government especially in Korea where everybody has some form of tutoring...

Yes I'm still in Korea but I am married now so I have the F-2-1 Visa which gives me a lot of rights more than the E-2 Visa holders. Therefore I won't be deported :)
