Start can used in the same way as begin when you say,

Prolific also refers to producing a lot of creative work, such as a prolific songwriter writes lots of songs in a short period of time, or a prolific writer produces a great deal of written work.

Just wondering how many teachers out there are using songs to teach children ESL. It would be interesting to hear of some of your experiences.

Hi
Preschoolers love finger rhymes and singing games. I used to have my own preschool and finger rhymes such as Tommy THumb captivate them. YOu can listen to lots of rhymes at Pams ESL Classroom.

You can always play Heads and Shoulders, Knees and Toes, just for fun. I was talking to an ESL teacher who had taught in Korea and she said the only Korean she could remember was Heads and Shoulders...

Singing games and action songs are non competitive. Finger rhymes are also useful. Theres lots of great mp3 and singing games at http://www.pamseslclassroom.com
