Definitely with an adult, use a book! They can do their homework and look back on what they've learned and feel positive about it. It is also great reinforcement.

I don't think teenagers are a problem. Try 11 and 12 year olds. They can be a handful. By the time they are 13 and 14, they are actually much better behaved than the younger ones. Guaranteed!

I just wanted to say that I'm in Poland I love your flashcards. I've used them in addition to whatever text we're using when I have a class with little kids. They also LOVE them.
