We have several public school positions available. These positions are with the South Korean government & they come with government public school employment contracts.

They are available to commence from now until mid to late May. More positions will become available in September.

They would be to teach either elementary, middle or high school positions. There would be 22 classes per week. 1 elementary class would be 40 minutes & a middle or high school class would be 50 minutes each.

It is monday to friday. no weekends, no split shifts.

Salary is in accordance with the government's pay scale. It ranges from 2.0m to 2.85m won per month. It is tax free to all candidates except Canadians.

In addition, you will get:
300,000 won one-time settlement allowance
100,000 won per month provincial allowance

rent-free single or shared apartment
14 working days paid vacation + national holidays (gyungnam & jeonbuk provinces)
35 calendar days paid vacation + national holidays (gangwondo)

7 day special leave allowance
2 weeks additional paid vacation if you resign your contract after the first year

The sucessful candidate:
will be from the USA, the UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
will have a Bachelor diploma in any field
will have no criminal history
