Planet People is looking for two native English teachers who have previous kindergarten teaching experience in Korea for two very reputable schools in Gangnam. These two separate schools both want a teacher who is located in Korea.

Here are the schools’ brief contract details.

Location: Gangnam, Seoul
Students: Kindergarten~ elementary
Starting date: end of July
Contract duration: 7 months (End of July~ end of Feb 2010)
Working hours: 9:40am~ 4pm
Work days: Monday to Friday
Salary: 2.1~ 2.3 Million won
Total Hours: 120 hours/month
Single housing provided
Currently there are 3 native English teachers working together with Korean English teachers.

Working hours: 9am~ 5pm
Work days: Monday to Friday
Salary: 2.1~ 2.3 Million won
Total Hours: 120 hours/month
Single housing provided
Currently there are 6 native English teachers working together with Korean English teachers.

REMINDER: The short term contracts (6~7 month contract) only provide one way ticket (to /or from Korea) and no severance pay.

The reason they are offering a short term contract this time is for all their teachers to start and finish the academic year together since the new academic year now starts in the beg of March.

If you are currently teaching kindergarten students in Korea and your contract finishes in July or August, and you want to stay in Korea a bit longer but can't stay for another year, this is a very good option for you!

Good reference from your current (previous) director is essential.
