K-12 Certified Teachers

Teaching Positions Available in Tainan Public Schools (2 junior high & 4 elementary)

We are looking for foreign certified K-12 teachers who are dedicated to their profession, patient and positive with students.
The schools are located along countryside or in rural settings. If you are also a nature lover, we would like to hear from you.

Position Info

■ Location: Tainan

■ Curriculum:
EFL (English as a Foreign Language), collaborating-teaching involved

■ Contract period:
Oct /Nov 2012 - 31st of June 2013, renewable

■ Class description:
25-40 students, G1-6 for elementary, G7-9 for junior high

■ Monthly salary:
NT$62,720/month for Bachelor’s degree
NT$69,965/month for Master’s degree
NT$73,025/month for Doctoral degree

■ Monthly housing subsidy:
$ 8000 NTD (around $270 USD)

■ Airfare reimbursement:
$ 25000 NTD (one way)

■ End of Contract Performance bonus:
NT$60,000

■ Paid vacation: Summer & Winter vacation
- in accordance with the school calendar

■ Labor and health insurance:
Available

■ Free Airport pick up

■ Will assist to find accommodation

■ Working Hours:
Mon-Fri, AM 08:30 ~ PM 16:30 or AM 08:00 ~ PM 16:00

■ Teaching hour:
18 teaching classes per week for the high school;*
21~23 teaching classes per week for the elementary school


TEACHER REQUIREMENTS:
1) Native English speaker
2) 4 years of Bachelor’s degree
3) U.S.A., U.K., CA, AU, NZ, SA, IRE passport holder*
4) Certified teacher with teaching license for public school system*
