| | Re: Directions to Korean Embassy in Fukuoka, Japan Here's a little update on the visa process in fukuoka as of February, 2006.
I went there right when they opened at 9am with everything prepared. They said I could pick it up the next day at 11am. So it seems there is no more 1 day processing.
Also, there are some specific times which you can do certain things:
9am - 11am & 1:30pm - 3:30pm application drop off times.
11am - 12pm & 1:30 - 3:30pm pick up times.
There was also a sign that stated visa processing could take 2-3 days.
Finally, you do not need the "blue" form anymore. All you need is the visa issuance number (which your new employer should provide for you), passport, photos and 6,000 Yen.
Hope that saves some folks some frustration. |

| | Re: Directions to Korean Embassy in Fukuoka, Japan i think you are automatically granted a 90 tourist visa upon entering Korea. at least americans are. most other english speaking nations get 90 days with the exception of canada, which gets 180.
im not 100% on this stuff but im pretty sure.
