Where else have you taught? Can you compare some?

I have only taught English in Korea so I don't have anything else to compare it with. The kids in the public schools seem a lot better than the kids in the private schools. The private school kids are generally so tired after studying all day and I couldn't blame them. It's so rewarding when I can see them try so hard and push themselves without me having to give them some sort of extrinstic reward (chocolate, candy, snacks...etc).
