Hi all,

I am an English teacher from Turkey. I would like to share problems and solutions of the job. I've been teaching for 15 years in Isparta in the southwest Turkey near Antalya.I am the mother of two children one of whom I teach . I teach upper secondary students and I think reading and writing are the activities that I would like to get better performance from my students. Would be great to hear and share. Bye.

Umran

Welcome to the site, Umran! There are a lot of experienced teachers here so I bet you'll be able to find the answers to some of your problems. Post those questions here: http://eslhq.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12

Reading and writing and very challenging to teach. This Game is good because it practices everything.

Eric

Hello Umran,

Nice to meet you. My reply here is very late. I took a long summer vacation and am just getting back to teaching this week.

I'm about to start teaching a writing class to middle school students, in fact, I start on Friday. I'd love to hear about some activities or methods that you use. My questions will probably start next week.

Bye for now,
Karen
