I have a question about tracking hits. Is there a special program to use so you can tell where your hits are coming from, eg how many come from eslhq as opposed to from google searches etc.

there are two i would recommend: awstats or tracewatch

However, both require entering code on you pages and then setting up a mySQL database.

You can probably activate some sort of log for your site. That would be done with your provider. Then all you need is a log reading program.
