Eric - right now the 'polls' get pushed to the top every time someone votes. With 5-6 polls in the teaching forum, it's pretty annoying. .. Well, it's a little annoying.

Is that a feature that can be turned off and the polls will only come forward if someone actually posts a reply?

Hi Mark,

I think this is because those threads have been updated most recently. If you look at the last post of each thread, you can see that they are sorted by date descending.

Does that make sense?

Yeah, I know why it's happening. I think it's pushed up every time someone votes. But the top teaching thread Do you support ESL co-teaching? What type?
hasn't had a response since Aug. 1st. The polls are just sticking to the top and they get highlighted as new even though there aren't any responses just that someone voted.

Again, not really an issue but you have to crawl through 7 polls (with no new info other than poll results) now to get to newer threads.

Nothing to lose sleep over or even worry about if it doesn't bother anyone else. I just have the Web-patience of a gna ... see I've already lost interest

Hey Mark,

I see what you mean. The threads were getting bumped to the top when someone voted without leaving a reply. I've changed it so that new votes do not bump the thread to the top of the forum.
