I guess most teachers today use the communicative approach. But how do you address the weaknesses of this approach, i.e. The students is able to communicating but they making many the mistake.

I have to say that $30 sounds a bit too steep to me, too. It's probably a reasonable price in some parts of the world, but teachers here in Malaysia would be very unlikely to buy it when they can see...

My easy way to explain is

put on = start to wear
get on = start to ride
fall asleep = start to sleep

Another one is 'get up' and 'wake up' - some languages do not distinguish between these.

It's not a market as such, it's that people rip the audio from headway, for example, and convert it to mp3s where you can download it for free. Or you can get a soft copy of Azar that makes it easy...

Did you realise that pirated ESL material is more and more widely available from sites like eDonkey, eSnips etc.?
