Oh and cutting out snowflakes is a favourite, but such fun to clean up. They look great on windows and hanging from the ceiling with the bells and stars.

Folding paper to cut out Christmas trees and bells can introduce the ideas of symmetry to the class and also they can be decorated with paint, or glitter, glitter glue etc. Kids also love colouring...

Yes and their self consciousness dissolves as they are initiating the discussion and are empowered by asking questions and choosing who can respond. Great for self esteem.
