What about creating a special witches brew recipe for halloween. Vocabulary such as toads, newts, bats wings etc could be explored.

Pams ESL Classroom has lots of free mp3 downloads of songs perfect for kids 3 to 11 or so. There are also lyrics available but its always nice to hear the song sung. Its easier to use that way.

Yes Little Sage, puppets are great.. Especially with shy children. Also they make children relax and laugh and reduce anxiety. Just hiding behind a table and popping the puppet up and saying hello...
