text message decoding games for teens Hi all,
I seem to be haunting the boards a lot these days! ;-)
I'm going to be doing a lesson on modern manners with my teen SS. The context is using your mobile phone in public. The grammar focus are modals must should and have to (obligation).
I was thinking of sprucing the lesson up a bit by adding a game on text message lingo at the end and thought of writing extracts of pop songs in text message speech and have the SS decode them. However, I think it could be a little flat (i.e. to easy for them) any ideas on how to inject some competition in there? Thanks |
