I have had good luck with a spongy ball. There are many ways to use this. You can pick any grammar point or structure (but I avoid present continuous). All students stand. The person who is the object of the ball answers in the target grammar, and throws the ball to another person and asks a different question in the target grammar. After a person has a turn, he or she sits down.
