Errr! I once gave a PowerPoint presentation to a class & followed it up with a worksheet that was for a completely different lesson. They were confused, but I think I got away with it.

Teaching privates in Thailand is quite normal, yet probably illegal. It's a way to supplement the relatively poor pay that you earn at a school.

That rather depends on the type of accomodatioin that you are looking for. A small single room will set you back a few thousand a month.
