I don't know if it's just me, but i can't think of any situations where i'd personally use "do up" .... well apart from doing up my shoes :). Although i do agree with the above about how it can be...

Try group drilling and walk around the students to try and listen to each individual. Also single students out (obviously you can't get them all to do it individually).

I've done it with big groups (up to 30). I split them up and get them to come up with the best vacation (as voted by the class).
