One of the best approaches is substitution drilling. The best thing about this is that it's easy to mask it in ALOT of fun games.

I have had many experiences where the sts had no idea what christmas was... but never had anyone to object. Although, they were all youngins!

I taught the kids of Chinese soccer players, when I was teaching in Shanghai. I really liked that school because they gave me a lot of freedom with how I structured my lessons.

Halloween isn't the biggest thing in Australia, i've never celebrated it let alone carved any pumpkins.
